1. Invite the bot and use commands
The bot added to your server is named ReminderBOT Public. You need Discord’s Manage Server permission to install it.
- Open Discord’s official authorization screen with the button below and choose your server.
- Approve View Channels and Send Messages. Allow both permissions for the bot in the channel where reminders should appear.
- Open a text channel in the server and type /schedule. Select a command belonging to ReminderBOT Public, fill in its options, and send it.
If the bot is already installed, continue below. Inviting it does not start the trial or charge you.
The option:value examples below show which options to select in Discord. Choose a slash command rather than sending an ordinary chat message. Commands and controls appear in Japanese or English according to your Discord language setting. Use them inside the server, rather than in a DM.
Open Discord in your browser ↗2. Administrator: get started
- Run /schedule help to check this server’s access.
- If the server has not used its trial, start it. The result shows the expiry date. If you already subscribe, register as the representative before continuing.
/schedule trial - Set the timezone in which you want to enter dates. The example below uses Japan time.
/schedule timezone zone:Asia/Tokyo - For English channel posts, choose English in the language option.
/schedule language language:English
Each server gets one calendar month, once, with no payment details or automatic charge. A representative is not needed during the trial. If you already subscribe, follow the representative-registration steps below.
Administrators can run /schedule status to check trial expiry and settings.
3. Add your first reminder
Run this command in the channel where the reminder should appear. Administrators and members allowed to create reminders can use it.
/schedule addTo post elsewhere, select the channel option. Fill in the Add shared reminder form, then submit it.
- Title
- Raid meetup
- Time (Asia/Tokyo)
2030-05-10 21:00
Use year-month-day hour:minute in 24-hour time, with a future date.- Details (optional)
- Meet in our usual voice channel.
- Repeat (optional)
weekly
Leave blank or enter none for a one-off reminder.
Reminder added shows the date, channel, and ID. Check it with /schedule list. At the scheduled time, a card with the title and details is posted to the chosen channel.
Channel reminders are posted at the scheduled time without mass mentions such as @everyone. Check your Discord channel-notification settings if you want alerts.
4. Set up recurrence
Enter one of these values in the form’s Repeat field. Recurrence uses the date, time, and timezone you entered.
| Enter | Result |
|---|---|
| blank or none | One time |
| daily | Every day at the same time |
| weekly | Every week on the same weekday and time |
| monthly | Every month on the same date and time |
| yearly | Every year on the same month, date, and time |
Choose weekdays or intervals
For a more specific schedule, enter an RRULE beginning with FREQ= in the Repeat field.
| Schedule | Repeat field |
|---|---|
| Every Monday and Wednesday | FREQ=WEEKLY;BYDAY=MO,WE |
| Every other Friday | FREQ=WEEKLY;INTERVAL=2;BYDAY=FR |
| The first Friday of each month | FREQ=MONTHLY;BYDAY=1FR |
| Weekly, four occurrences | FREQ=WEEKLY;COUNT=4 |
Weekdays are MO, TU, WE, TH, FR, SA, and SU. Set the time in the Time field. A monthly rule for a date such as the 31st skips months without that date.
5. Member: view reminders
While the server has trial or representative access, members can view reminders without individual subscriptions.
/schedule list- Upcoming reminders shows up to ten next reminders in this server.
- Select a reminder under View reminder details to see its details, channel, and recurrence.
- Use Refresh on the list or run /schedule list again to get the latest schedule.
Command responses and control cards are visible only to the person using them. The reminders are shared in the server; scheduled posts appear in their delivery channels.
If the list shows Add reminder, it opens the same form. Administrators control who may create reminders.
6. Delete or change a reminder
The creator and server administrators can delete a reminder.
- Open the reminder’s details from /schedule list.
- Choose Delete and check the reminder title.
- Confirm with Delete, or choose Cancel to keep the reminder.
If you know the ID, you can also use this command. Enter the reminder ID shown in the list in the id option.
/schedule delete id:REMINDER_IDThe ID command deletes immediately, without a confirmation screen. Deleting a recurring reminder stops its future posts.
To change the time or details in Discord, check and delete the original, then create a replacement with /schedule add.
7. Post a daily schedule
An administrator runs this in the desired channel. It summarizes that channel’s reminders for the day using the server timezone.
/schedule daily time:09:00Use 24-hour HH:mm. Each server has one channel and time; running the command elsewhere replaces both. On days without reminders, it posts No reminders today.
To stop the daily list, enter off in the time option. Individual reminders remain in place.
/schedule daily time:off8. Configure your server
Let members create reminders
An administrator chooses True in the allow option to let all members add reminders. False restricts creation to administrators.
/schedule permissions allow:TrueViewing does not require creation permission. Even when members may create reminders, deletion is limited to the creator or an administrator.
Set timezone and post language
/schedule timezone zone:America/New_York/schedule language language:EnglishUse a timezone name such as Asia/Tokyo, America/New_York, or UTC. The change applies to new reminders; existing ones keep their own timezone.
Post language controls cards sent to channels. Your command and response language follows your Discord language setting.
Check the current setup
/schedule statusAdministrators can check access expiry, representative, trial, creation permissions, timezone, post language, daily-list setup, and delivery errors.
9. Subscribe, cancel, or transfer
Continue after the trial
- The subscriber runs /schedule subscribe, selects Open checkout, and pays in Stripe after reviewing the JPY 300 monthly plan. Billing starts when you subscribe and renews automatically.
- Once payment is activated, the subscriber runs /schedule represent in a server they manage. Manage Server permission is required.
- Check the representative and access expiry with /schedule status. One subscriber may represent up to three servers; other members do not need individual subscriptions.
After the trial, reminders pause until the server has a representative with paid access. Stored reminders are not automatically deleted. Subscription and representative registration restore access.
Change payment method or cancel
/schedule billingThe Stripe subscriber runs this command and chooses Open billing portal to make changes or cancel. Access continues until the paid period ends. Normal cancellations have no prorated refund. If you subscribed through Apple, use Apple’s subscription management.
Transfer to a successor
/schedule transfer successor:SELECT_MEMBERThe current representative selects a successor and confirms with Transfer, or chooses Cancel. The successor must have Manage Server permission, an active subscription, and room within the three-server limit. Reminders and settings continue. Transferring a server does not cancel the previous representative’s personal subscription.
If the previous representative has left the server, the current server owner should contact support for identity verification and transfer assistance.

11. Help with common issues
Commands do not appear
Confirm that ReminderBOT Public is in the server, then type /schedule in a server text channel. Japanese Discord uses /予定. Ask an administrator to check your Use Application Commands permission and the server or channel settings.
Cannot add a reminder, or an administrator permission is required
Check access with /schedule help. If access is active but you cannot add reminders, ask whether the administrator has enabled member creation with /schedule permissions. Starting a trial and changing server settings require Manage Server permission.
Date or recurrence input is rejected
Use YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm in 24-hour time, without seconds. Check the form’s timezone and use a future date. Repeat accepts presets such as weekly or a single-line rule beginning with FREQ=.
A reminder is not posted at its scheduled time
An administrator checks access expiry and delivery errors with /schedule status. Confirm that the channel exists and the bot has View Channels and Send Messages there. Failed deliveries retry each minute while access is active.
The free trial is marked as already used
Each server has one trial. Reinstalling the bot or changing members does not reset it. Check the expiry with /schedule help or administrator-only /schedule status; subscribe and register a representative to continue.
If the issue persists, contact support with the command, displayed error, and time of the issue. Do not send passwords, bot tokens, or card details.
